Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

Miramar, FL

3rd year | Summer 2019

Category: Commercial Design

Duration: 4 weeks (in the process of being built)

Skills: Revit, Lumion, Photoshop

Over Summer 2019, I had the opportunity to intern with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in the Workplace Solutions Department. One of the main projects I worked on was to redesign the entire lobby at their Miramar location. As the lead designer, the goal for the design included everything from material selection and modeling to the flow and security of the space. The design supports a fresh and modern look balanced with simplicity and elegance.

To maximize successful design communication, Revit and Lumion were used to design and render the drawings. This project was the first 3-dimensional design created for the Workplace Solutions Department. The proposal of the new Miramar lobby became a selling point for the 3D program Revit, allowing my department to evolve towards the 3D world.
